You select the Funeral venue and the Crematorium or Cemetery. We do the rest.

The Celebrations, Family Gatherings and Ceremonies you wish to arrange are readily available through this site. Let us know where you would like to have the Funeral and we will provide the Professional Services, the Staff, the Facilities or the Funeral Equipment required to support your choices.

The Online Arrangement Platform at FuneralHelp.ca will guide you through some of the possibilities. But if there is something else you wish to arrange- or the Arrangements need a private consultation or a Concierge –type approach- just let us know.

Other Choices that are Simple. Transparent. Easier.

If you would prefer to arrange for a Simple Cremation or a Simple Burial using our exclusively Online Arrangement Platforms, these are also readily available. Everything, including the identification of the deceased is completed Online. There are no gatherings or private goodbyes with these Simple Packages, but for many families, a gathering is something that may be held at a later date, with or without our help.

Cremation Help by Dermody’s provides dignified care for the deceased, including a cremation container and transportation from place of death to our facility and then to the crematorium. We register all documents with the Province, arrange for Coroner’s authorization for cremation and deliver the required documents to the Crematorium. . We also assist you with CPP applications for a Death Benefit of up to $2500 and we provide you with Proof of Death Certificates to settle the Estate. Once cremation has taken place, we return the cremated remains to you in a temporary container.

Burial Help by Dermody’s provides dignified care for the deceased, transportation from the place of death to our facility where the deceased is placed in a basic Burial Container and then transferred to the Cemetery at which you have arranged for the burial. We obtain the Medical Certificate of Death from the attending Physician or Coroner, then we register the death with the Province of Ontario and arrange for the issue of a Burial Permit to be delivered to the Cemetery. We also assist you with CPP applications for a Death Benefit of up to $2500 and we provide you with Proof of Death Certificates to settle the Estate.
